When I first hovered indecisively around the Second Life signup page several months ago, I kind of liked the idea of being 'Roisin Hoisin'. Hovering this time, not getting my hopes up because, you know, I have a crappy unsupported graphics card, 'Hoisin' was no longer on the list of available surnames. First attempt, 'Quinn Qinan', was naturally cool enough to be taken. This was my final choice:

'Calantha' is of Greek origin and means lovely flower. It's pretty, but rare enough that there won't be one on every corner. 'Theas'... well, that sounded pretty too, as well as slightly Greekish. (BTW, I am not even slightly Greek and my only connection with Greece is I went on a couple of package holidays there when I was a kid. And I think their alphabet is kind of pretty.)
I know it's only a free account and if I screw up on the name, I can always register another one. (Already, I kind of wish I'd gone for something gender-neutral and not so blatantly girly. I can't very well wander about pretending to be a guy with a name like 'Calantha', can I?) Also, I find I keep mistyping it as 'Clantha' or 'Calanatha', which doesn't bode terribly well. But other than this, I'm happy with my choice.
